Up in the Air & A Single Man: Fresh to Death
How do you feel about title sequences? I love ‘em. They’re a cleansing ginger to your palate after the reel of trailers and reminders to turn off your cell phone (you may have missed them while texting). Good title sequences get you in the mood for the film you’re about to see—Jason Reitman calls them “the doormats to your movie.” The title sequence for North by Northwest immediately comes to...
New Character Portraits from Tim Burton's Alice in...
I’ve been lazy about blogging. Bits on A Single Man, Up in the Air, and Avatar on the way. Caught the original Alice trailer in 3d during Avatar—not bad Tim Burton, not bad at all.

Total Film's Shaun of the Dead Photo Shoot
The magazine’s End of the Decade Special hits shelves on December 17. In related news, David O. The Road: Almost
A year after its scheduled Thanksgiving 08 release, John Hillcoat’s The Road hit theaters just long enough after New Moon to get adults and film junkies chasing after the scent of anything that smells artsy. Adapted from Cormac McCarthy’s novel of the same name, the story follows a father and son’s travels across a post-apocalyptic America in which humanity has been diminished...

New Pics from Iron Man 2
There seems to be a sudden burst of activity surrounding this movie (the new poster, Jeff Bridges’ comments, and now these pictures). I wouldn’t be surprised to see a teaser trailer emerge during the previews for Avatar.
